Churches and civic groups “adopt” groups of children to provide gifts and clothing at Christmas
Feed the Kids for Summer is a program that helps supplement food during the summer for students on the free/reduced breakfast and lunch program in MISD. Each student can receive a bag of food containing nutritious food that can be prepared without the use of an oven or stove. The bags are distributed each week through the student’s nearest food pantry. The program will operate from May 31 - August 9.
